In early July, the Hilkeys begin their consultations with Diane Kennedy. Prior to their first call with Diane, they put together a list of questions. The list is long and includes questions about:
- Sub-leasing a facility
- Handling the financial burden of a lease and a small business loan
- The pros and cons of choosing one of the several different legal entity options available
- Health insurance
- The ADA tax credit
- Errors in their previous income tax return
- Financial planning towards saving to send the kids to college and retirement
